The University of Maryland is now offering graduate programs in translation and interpreting, including conference. See their website for detailed information about the courses: http://oes.umd.edu/index.php?slab=slabid-353. I'm interested to these how these programs do in the next couple years. Considering their east coast location and proximity to the D.C. area, they might provide an interesting alternative to MIIS on the other side of the country.
